Mental Lever Page Description

Mental Levers are mini-articles. They answer key questions and present important libertarian and voluntaryist ideas in bite-size chunks that are easy to share. They are grouped in the following Collections:

Are you a passive consenter to State criminality?

Consenters
Politicians get ALL of their power from Consenters.

As the Declaration of Independence observed…

“All government rests upon the consent of the governed.”

Politicians presume your consent for all their deeds,, including their crimes. After all, they are…

  • From your community
  • Supported and elevated by people like you
  • Reverenced — treated like privileged leaders rather than servants
  • Obeyed

Are you part of this support system for politicians? Are you a “sheep-like” by-stander when politicians initiate force against others? Do you feel zero empathy for the victims? Have you passively consented to “government” criminality?

  1. Could you bring back the ‘deny consent to government criminality’ option at DownsizeDC? I miss the options we once had. I love the new ‘flash actions’, its good to be on top of the craziness that is part of ‘DC’..
